DONATIONS
We spend over Rs 9,00,000 (Rupees Nine Lakhs) every month on our various programmes that include sterilisation, vaccination, on-site first aid and vaccination, adoption, healthcare and education. You would be happy to know that all our services are free.You could donate for programmes that are close to your heart whose options are given below or make a general donation towards monthly operating costs.
VOLUNTEER
Love for animals is of course what draws volunteers to WSD. But more importantly, it is the ability to act rationally and responsibly that makes them truly valuable. Meet some of the people who are head-over-heart in love with street dogs.

ADOPTION
We rehome many abandoned pets and also try to find good homes for street dogs. Each dog is put through a temperament test by our animal behaviourist and trained volunteers.
We believe the adoption procedure for a dog requires as much care as the adoption of a child. People who want to adopt dogs from us, undergo a screening process including an interview. In some cases, they are requested to visit the kennel several times prior to adoption so that they can develop a bond with their chosen pet.
Dogs are only given when we are sure the new owners are caring, sincere and responsible. Dogs over 3 months of age are vaccinated against rabies before adoption.
